Rain

I love PaperArtsy's Infusions and in my latest post for Country View Crafts' Projects I created a rainy scene. I hope you'll pop over and see it!

Double 003.5

The theme at Country View Crafts Challenges this month was perfect for me! I stamped a random assortment of Emma Godfrey’s circles as a background because I’d enjoyed the simple effect I’d created last time but then had the (possibly bonkers) idea of adding this little chap in one and suddenly he reminded me of  the title sequence of 007 films and knowing he was a little chap I’d need double of them to make a full 007! Sometimes I really amuse myself when I’m creating journal pages so I hope this amused you! I used a mixture of watercolour pencils and regular pencils to colour this in, and watercolour pencils to create the shadows. Love how it looks quite 3D!

Exotic Su

The new theme at Country View Crafts Challenges this month was perfect for me! Circles – I love them!  They are ideal as a frame for an image or to contain a sentiment or to add a little movement to backgrounds. For my first piece this month I wanted to practice the clean and simple backgrounds many of you do that I so admire. I used stamped circles (from Emma Godfrey) as my background in my journal and as a frame for my sentiment. Su (the name for my phrenology head) is doing a good job keeping her crown of greenery on! I hope you’ll join in with us this month.
